“What if I’m not sure about therapy?”

Therapy is an investment of precious resources–your time, money, and energy.  Therefore, the fit of a therapist to a client’s needs is important so that a client reaches their goals and finds the desired improvement.

A free 15 minute consultation (by phone or videocall) is offered so that you can determine if therapy with Erin is right for you or your family.

Questions are welcomed and encouraged, even if you are just thinking about therapy, but not yet ready.

“Can I use my private insurance?”

Currently, I am “in-network” for the following insurance plans:  Aetna PPO, Blue Shield of CA PPO, Magellan Behavioral Health (HMO & EAP).  I also accept Blue Cross and Cigna PPO plans, but I am considered “out-of-network.”

“If I don’t have insurance, how much does therapy cost?”

Electronic payments (via credit or debit cards) are currently accepted at end of session via doxy.me, a HIPAA compliant video platform.

If paying via Venmo, my account is set to “private” so transactions are not visible to the public.  However, clients need to be aware that Venmo is not a HIPAA compliant payment platform, and information leaks are a potential risk.

Checks are also accepted and can be mailed to the office.

60 Minute Session ………………………..$150
90 Minute Session ………………………..$200
* I also offer a sliding fee scale. Please call or e-mail if you have questions regarding this.
